Welcome to Grade 1A

Our classroom theme is "Growing in God's Love". We learn about God's deep love for us and practice showing that love to the people around us. Surrounded by the love and support of our little community, we grow in kindness, patience, wisdom, knowledge, and skills.

About Mrs. Wolynec:

I have been teaching at Calvin Christian since 2011 in different grade levels and subjects across both campuses. Overtime, I felt drawn to the younger years and caught a passion for early literacy that eventually led me to grade one. I enjoy helping all learners find success in reading and spelling. My favourite thing about teaching is watching my students grow over the course of the school year.

When I am not at school, I enjoy spending time with my husband and two young sons. I love to do puzzles, learn new crafts, cook new foods, play board games, and relax at the lake.

I feel so blessed to be a part of this wonderful community here at Calvin Christian!
